The Field Specialist will focus on the extent of the potential problem with your case study.

All tools are located in Ramford University as well as in Your Office.


Read about your selected case and role in Ramford County and then come back here to review your guiding questions.

  • What are the sources of radon (e.g. point, non point, historical)?
  • What are the concentrations of radon in the air, surface and ground water, soil, and other media?
  • How does radon interact with the environment (i.e. solubility, volatility)?
  • How do conditions in the environment (i.e. temperature, light, weather, soil type) affect radon and its bio-availability?
  • What is the persistence of radon in the environment?
  • How does radon move in the environment (i.e. in ground and surface water, stuck on small particles)?
  • Where are high concentrations of radon likely to be found (i.e. inside houses and work places, surface water, drinking water, food)?
  • Can the areas with high concentrations be predicted?
