Ramavalley Timepiece Company

This company was owned by Mr. H.V. Heart of the Rogers, Heart, and Feld Reality Company. It was developed by their company on the site of the Grey farm and was well known throughout the US and the world for producing watch and clock dials that  "glowed in the dark". The glow was achieved using Ramavalley's formula developed by Dr.VanAllen which mixed radium with regular paint - the Radium's radioactivity caused the dials to emit Ramavalley's signature glow. The radium was extracted on-site from uranium ore imported from out west. The factory went out of business during the great depression and the property was developed by Rogers, Heart, and Feld Reality Company in 1949.
