Chief George Sweetwater has hired your environmental consulting firm as her team of experts to represent their interests in the Public Forum on acid precipitation.

The APAP has set the format of the Public Forum:  

 Your company and the company hired by Ann Pere-Watage will jointly prepare and make a 30 MINUTE presentation that will describe the acid precipitation problem in Ramford.  The presentation will cover the following:  

1. The types and causes of acid precipitation.

2. The trends over time for pH levels of surface-water and precipitation in Ramford County.

3. The point and non point-source contributors to acid precipitation for Ramford County.

4. The effects of acid precipitation on terrestrial ecosystems, aquatic ecosystems, and inorganic materials (i.e. buildings, cars, etc.).

 Your company will prepare and present a 15 MINUTE presentation highlighting the views that are consistent with Chief Sweetwater and his supporters Bo Saw, Douglas Fir, and Betsy Ross-Hamilton regarding the following:

1. How much economic damage is being caused in Ramford.

2. The technology to remove acidic pollutants from the environment.

3. The technology to prevent acidic pollutants from entering the environment.

4. The policy(s) that should be implemented to alleviate the problem, including estimates of cost, and how much would be saved in damages.
