The Laboratory Investigation Team

Investigative questions concerning the Occurrence, Fate and Transport of the chemical of concern.

- What are the primary routes of exposure (i.e. absorption through skin or roots, respiration, ingestion) to human and other life forms?

- How much exposure to the chemical will result in harm (to humans and to the environment)?

- How do human behavior patterns (i.e. work, recreation, play, eating habits) relate to exposure to the chemical?

- How do patterns of animal behavior relate to exposure rates?

- How do socio-economic factors (i.e. income, race) affect exposure?
