The second Quest will extend the learning from fictitious Ramford County to the real world - the students will formulate a problem statement/question about environmental levels of the chemical of concern in the community and/or associated with members of the community. For example houses/apartments in our state, city/town, neighborhood, and in our school?

Students may decide to answer this using a combination of historical and team collected data. The Resource section will help the team create a research and sampling plan, provide sampling directions, and contain links to procure lead analysis kits. It will also direct them to data collected by federal and state agencies and how to visualize the information using ArcView.
