Goal

   Your Company's goal is to answer the guiding questions and synthesize the information for your part of the debate.  This must be e-mailed to your CEO.  Please check into your WEBCT space to find the deadline. 


The following is a list of "benchmarks" dates for the on-line Institute.

1. Stage One: All teacher/participants have:

  • Signed on to the Team and Company discussions on WebCT and responded to the welcome activity.  (Includes your personal bio and your team assignment)

2. Stage Two: All Teams have:

  • Completed their rough-draft of their Guiding questions.

3. Stage Three: All Teams have:

  • Completed the answers to the guiding questions and sent them to their president who will upload them to WebCT 

4. Stage Four:

  • Members of the Meteorology, Field and Lab Teams will have discussions under their Team discussion groups. This is where you will share specific information that you want to put in the Power Point presentation.  Economic and Solutions/Technology Teams will discuss with their companies what will be in the final power point presentation.

5. Your Company President will arrange a meeting on-line between the Field, Lab and Meteorology Teams of another Company.

6. Stage Five:

  • Complete their research and prepare for your power point presentation as assigned by your Company President and CEO.

The internal deadlines for the work of the various Teams must be decided by the Team.

You will notice that the TEACHER'S GUIDE  section of the web-site is empty!!!  Your input will allow us to design it and put it "ON-LINE" for you and your colleagues to use.

The final On-Site Institute will be announced on your company's WEBCT calendar.
