MarshAccess Presents: "Designing and Implementing Accessible Informal Science Education Programs"

Accessible Informal Science Education

3 day National Conference for professionals providing informal
science education to adults with disabilities
6 p.m. March 11 to 12 p.m. March 14, 2010

Conference activities will focus on serving adults with disabilities and older adults with age related limitations, including:

  • Universal Instructional Design
  • Assistive technologies
  • Teaching strategies
  • Hands-on experiences
  • No tech, low tech and high tech approaches
  • Leadership, networking and idea sharing

Hotel, meals, and stipends for transportation are funded by the National Science Foundation.
