2. Folder open as a "Site"

Before we begin . . .

Select the Remote Web site tab

Click the Remote Web Site Properties... button

Select the FTP radio button

Select the Remote Web site location combo box

Type in the MSET student portfolio web address

Click the OK button

Type in the folder location:

portfolios/

Letter of your last Name /

Your Last name, underscore First Initial /

 Example: portfolios/h/horner_e

If you do not have or have forgotten your user name or password, contact your instructor.

Click the OK button

Select the portfolio.htm item

Click the Publish Selected Files from the Local Web site to the Remote Web site button

Alternately, you may want to only upload selected portions of a folder. In this next example, we will upload our Webquest folder from within our Brains folder.

Congratulations! You have FTP'd your portfolio.htm file.

Double-click the brains folder on the remote web site

Double-click the brains folder on the local web site

Select the webquest item

Click the Publish Selected Files from the Local Web site to the Remote Web site button

Good Job! You have uploaded or FTP'd your webquest folder to your server space.

Select the Folders tab

That's It! You have FTP'd in Microsoft FrontPage 2003
