Assignments 1 - 4 = 10 Points each for a total of 40 Points

Proficiency Demonstrations (4 in all) = 10 Points each for a total of 40 Points

Project Project demonstrates a basic understanding of the parts or elements needed for the solution. PB* + provides an appropriate flow of logic for solving the problem PB* + Solution is clearly expressed in an easy to follow format which leads the user to a definitive answer / solution.

Publication of Project Project is created as a web document but not published or working Project is completed as a web document, all of the links work, is published and is connected to the portfolio page. PB* + project follows conventional design elements and Priority One of web accessibility issues.

Conventional Design Elements: All web pages in publication must have the following elements:

  • Must be able to be printed
  • Must have sufficient contrast to be easily read
  • Must not use difficult to read fonts, sizes, or colors
  • All links must work
  • Provides a consistent navigation structure for each piece
  • Credit must be given if another resource is used in the development of the answer
  • Has alt tags for all images
  • Provides alternate text representation of any image map elements
  • None of the elements are solely dependent on color, audio or video prompts
 

 

Weekly Proficiencies 10 Points each Each Proficiency demonstration will be worth a total of 10 points.  Points will be awarded based on the number of correct responses from the student.
Please note that all proficiencies are to be completed independently. Prompts will be counted whether they come from the instructor or another student. You may always use your notes, the Internet and any other resource you deem necessary without a loss of points. You may retake a proficiency demonstration a total of 2 times.

Procedure for Course and Instructor Evaluation:
A course evaluation will be made available toward the end of the semester and you will be asked to complete the instrument. Feedback and suggestions are welcomed. Results of the evaluation are used to update the content and emphases of the course as contemporary research suggests.
