Overview: Creating Space

Throughout this class, you will be creating 2 practice sites and a final project. They will be structured as three separate web sites each in their own directory(folder). First, you must create a master directory named "dataweb" inside your portfolio on your flash drive. This will contain all work done in this class. Within this directory you will create folders with the following three names: pract1, pract2, and final. Within each of these directories you must create two additional directories: images and data.

The projects in this class are unique. In previous projects, users could view your pages and use hyperlinks for navigation. In this project they must also be allowed to enter data into the database contained in the data directory in each project. This requires special permissions on the server, and for this reason, your instructor has already created a file structure to match the one described. For this reason it is essential that you create your file structure as described.
